Hi everyone,
I've been dealing with severe acne for a long time now and my dermatologist recommended Roaccutane. However, I’m having trouble finding it quickly because it requires a prescription. Are there any safe ways to get it faster?
Thanks in advance!

Hello HealthSeeker123,
It's important to follow the proper prescription protocol for Roaccutane because it’s a potent medication with serious potential side effects. While I understand your frustration and desire for quicker access, buying or obtaining the drug without a legitimate prescription can be very risky.
What has been the delay in getting your prescription? Perhaps we could explore ways to expedite this process through your current dermatologist or another healthcare provider.

Hi DrMedHelp,
Thanks for the prompt response. The delay is mainly due to the waiting lists and follow-up visits required by my dermatologist. I'm just really eager to start treatment as soon as possible since I have a big event coming up.
Would it be safe to buy it from an online pharmacy that doesn't require prescriptions? Or do you know of any other way to get it faster?

HealthSeeker123,
Buying Roaccutane from an online pharmacy that doesn't require a prescription is highly unsafe and illegal. The medication needs to be prescribed by a healthcare provider for several reasons:
Instead of looking for quick fixes, consider reaching out to another dermatologist or a healthcare provider who can prescribe Roaccutane after an initial consultation. This ensures your safety and the effectiveness of the treatment.
In some cases, if your current doctor is unable to expedite the process due to high demand, they may be able to recommend someone else in their network who can provide quicker access.
